SKYBOKX 109 Sports Bar & Grill in Natick Introduces New Catering Sales Manager Melissa Stevens

Natick, Mass. (June 28, 2019) – Distinctive Hospitality Group (DHG), in conjunction with SKYBOKX 109 Sports Bar & Grill, MetroWest Boston’s premier destination for the ultimate dining, sports viewing and live entertainment experience, is pleased to announce the appointment of Melissa Stephens as Catering Sales Manager. A well-seasoned professional in the hospitality, event operations and catering industries, Stephens has over 20 years of experience specializing in planning and executing customized events for her clients and restaurant operations.

Stephens kicked off her hospitality career in front of the house operations at Boston Marriott Copley Place in the city’s bustling Back Bay neighborhood. She stayed with the company for four years in properties around Boston and Los Angeles before transitioning to the corporate side of event planning. She successfully managed and executed a number of meetings and trade show exhibits on behalf of Thompson Financial Group, LLC, and while there, honed in on her interest of implementing customized social and professional events based on client needs.

Her next adventure was booking social events for the entertainment industry at Primitivo Wine Bistro, where she served guests and managed the floor for the bustling and chic hot spot in California. Upon returning back to New England, she also served customers at restaurants in MetroWest.

Stephens’ well-established career in the hospitality industry, in addition to her front of the house experience, has given her a strong understanding of all aspects that play into successful event execution for her clients. Her ability to collaborate with all aspects of the restaurant’s staff will make her an extraordinary asset to the team at SKYBOKX 109 Sports Bar & Grill.

In her new position, Stephens will maintain existing client relationships while fostering new ones and lead a team in implementing menu creations and event execution. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul, two sons, Jack and Ben, friends and running half and full marathons.
